A little bit about me...
I currently live in London, but I'm originally from Newcastle (and proud of it!). I've
always had a passion for creativity and
I've been lucky enough to be able to nurture my skills through my job roles. I have a
Foundation Degree in Photography following
an Art Foundation Course. I describe myself as somewhat of an Adobe enthusiast and I
love learning
how to use new programs and experimenting with techniques. Over the years I have built
up an extensive and varied portfolio,
and I figured it was about time I had a website to showcase it. When looking through the
available builders
and platforms, I couldn't find a way to build one exactly as I would like. So I thought
- I'll learn to build
one from scratch. After a few months and many, many hours watching online tutorials -
this
is the result!
I have been involved in major campaigns and creative projects within my retail career. I currently work for a top high street brand designing windows and in store creative. To see some of the work and projects I have been a part of, click the link below.
Alongside my day job, I have been working on sideline projects to help develop my skills. These vary from party invitations to full re-branding for a company.
Following a course I did for work, I discovered a love of digital illustration and I have continued to develop my skills over the last few years. I really enjoy finding new techniques for creating prints and illustrations.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, especailly analogue. I studied the fundamentals of film at college and still use my SLR today. Naturally since college I have developed my digitial skills in both shooting and re-touching.
